That depends on what amenities you would like! These are a few ballpark numbers that can help you plan for your event:
Yes! We have an elevator on the east side of the Century Room.
Not at all! The Century Room offers dedicated restrooms and an area for breastfeeding mothers. However, the Parkside Patio shares restrooms with the Tavern.
The Century Room has its own entrance with a private stairwell that guests use. Guests only have to pass through the Tavern if they need the elevator. Guests do have to pass through the Tavern on their way to the Patio.
While we love to support our fellow caterers, we take care of all food and beverage in-house and do not allow outside catering. The only exception is for caterers of specialty desserts (wedding/groom's cake, pies, cupcakes, etc.)
No. Our North Carolina liquor permit does not allow outside alcohol to be served on the premises—no exceptions. But this means you don’t have to worry about bringing enough alcohol for your guests—we’ve got you!
Yes! North Carolina ALE and ABC laws are very strict, and we strictly adhere to them. As required by law, if a guest looks younger than the age of 40, we will ask for an ID. If a guest does not have an ID or if the ID is expired, we cannot serve alcohol to this guest. Only valid government-issued IDs (passports, driver’s licenses, government-issued ID cards) are allowed as proof of age. This protects our guests and our family-ow
We take care of anything venue-, food-, and beverage-related. We don’t offer entertainment, floral services, photography/videography, wedding officiating, wedding planning/day-of coordinating, and so on. However, we can recommend great vendors for these services. Depending on the availability of our team, we can take care of other vendors for an additional fee.
Because we are part of a restaurant and therefore serve food, only verified service animals (not support animals) are allowed in the Century Room.
We only require you to have a professional ceremony coordinator or day-of coordinator if you opt for a ceremony and reception. A reputable wedding planner best fills this role. Unfortunately, because our team is busy making sure the venue, food, and beverage services are on point, we cannot manage ceremony details and wedding/reception timelines.
